That's why CB Babysitters has taken the legwork out of researching local babysitters.  Based out of Crested Butte, Colorado, CB Babysitters is a babysitting referral service and has screened and background checked every sitter on the list to ensure the utmost level of professionalism and safety.  Our recommended sitters not only love children, but have plenty of experience in childcare. How it Works
 To request a sitter, start by creating an account with CB Babysitters and make your first babysitting request. One of our coordinators will contact you within 24-hours to discuss the details.  Once a sitter is appointed, you can expect a confirmation email with the sitter bio and contact information to discuss the fine details. They will come to your lodging accommodations to care for your children. Our recommended sitters are experienced and competent in many areas of childcare including bottle-feeding, bathing and putting your children to bed on time. They bring games and activities with them so the kids can stay entertained.  Our sitters are mature and know how to handle challenging situations. If you desire, your sitter can take your kids outside to play. We know all the fun parks and kid-friendly venues to have a great time!  We care for all ages from infants to toddlers and even teenagers.

CB Babysitters was originally created by Anthony Perez and Laura Gutierrez to help visitors of the Crested Butte area find reliable babysitters while parents enjoy the great outdoors or go out for a night on the town.  What started as a group of local babysitters, self-promoting through word of mouth, has transformed into a professional source for parents to quickly find the best sitter for their children. 

Services and Rates

Standard Babysitting Service
Request a babysitter to come to your lodging accommodations while you enjoy the day or go out for the night.
​$32/hour (1-2 children)
​$5/hour per child after 2 children
4-hour minimum applies
$50 Flat-Fee per booking applies on Holidays / Peak Days (see below)
6 child maximum per sitter
2 infant/toddler maximum per sitter
Extra charge for jobs outside of Crested Butte

Exclusive Babysitter Package
Perfect for a multi-day request.  Hire one babysitter to be your exclusive babysitter with a flexible schedule!! The babysitter is "on-call" for you all day and night and will work up to 8 hours (non-consecutive).
$350 for 1-2 children
$400 for 3 children
Maximum of 3 children
2 infant/toddler maximum per sitter
Up to 8 hours of babysitting (does not have to be consecutive)
More time is allowed at $40/hr (1-2 children) and $45/hr (3 children)
A $50 flat-fee per day is applied to Holidays / Peak Days (see below)

Weddings and Events
Babysitters are available during weddings and special events to let parents enjoy some adult time. There are two options:
​
  1. Parents can individually request a babysitter for their own children or share with friends and family in their own lodging accommodations.
  2. ​The wedding/event organizer can arrange for a secure and safe location such as one hotel room, condo or home where multiple children can meet and babysitters can take care of them. Each babysitter will be allowed to care for a maximum of 5 children. After 5 children, more babysitters will be necessary. The location of babysitting must be off-site of the wedding/event location.
